We just had our second experience with East Bay Tree Service, and this was was as quick and successful as the first. Victor's crew showed up when promised, and removed two substantial trees next to a fence quickly and with minimal fuss. No mess left behind, either. His rates are lower than many others but the job is done quickly, safely, and very well.

I don’t usually write reviews, but these guys really stood out. They gave a fair, straightforward quote, showed up exactly when they said they would, and got right to it—no drama, no delays. We’ve hired a few different companies over the years for tree work, but these folks? Easily the best we’ve worked with. From the first call to the final cleanup, everything just went smoothly—no stress, no chasing them down, no surprise charges. The crew was friendly, worked efficiently, and left the yard cleaner than they found it. Definitely our go-to from now on for stump removal, trimming, whatever comes up.

I highly recommend Eat Bay Tree Service! We had about 12 trees removed from our backyard. Victor's crew showed up right on time and they were extremely professional. They left the backyard cleaner than it was when they arrived. The crew also trimmed several large birch trees and they did a wonderful job pruning. Now they look beautiful. Victor, the owner, is a local Lamorinda resident. He is extremely fair priced and professional. I was very impressed with East Bay Tree and I will use them for all of my tree services in the future

We were directed to this company by my parents, who used them to remove a couple of huge and dangerous pines that were not well out in Lafayette, and raved out their work (they don't really write reviews, but would definitely give them 5 stars). This is a small company so is very busy and is not easy to schedule. But if you persist, they will do great work both on the trees and on the clean up. We have used them twice now - once last fall and a second time this winter to clean up the yard of a house that we purchased last March, was a former rental, and had a complete mess of a back yard - trees and shrubs that had never been cared for. There were sick and leaning trees (safety hazard to us and our kids), overgrown trees with branches all the way to the ground, a pine full of dead limbs, and thick walls of weedy shrubs and vines like english ivy. The yard now looks much better and with all the cleanup done is ready for a landscaper to come in and work with us on a permaculture-type setup that includes to planting native California trees, shrubs, grasses and wildlflowers, and our favorite fruit trees and shrubs (and eventually some chickens).

Victor and his team were amazing! We've used them twice - once for an emergency cleanup of a downed tree, most recently to take out one very, very large cedar tree. Their prices were reasonable. Their team efficient, and respectful. The work immaculate. They removed a towering tree that was near power lines and a telephone pole, in a few days, on time, schedule, and quote. They immediately called us if there were any questions or uncertainties. Best of all, they cleaned up EVERYTHING and made the space where the tree was look natural, not like an explosion just happened. We cannot recommend Victor and East Bay Tree Service highly enough!! Thank you for such great work, keeping our yard safe and looking beautiful.
