Had this old oak dropping branches way too close to the roof. They got here the very next day, climbed right up, and handled it like total pros. You could tell safety was their priority the whole time, and they even double-checked everything before leaving. Now the yard looks cleaner and, honestly, I sleep better not worrying about branches crashing down during a storm.

Had them out for stump removal and it was over before I knew it. Super quick, clean, and way cheaper than the last quote I got. They showed up right on time, brought all the right gear, and handled it like pros. I didn’t even realize they were done until I looked out and saw nothing but fresh soil where that ugly stump used to be. The yard actually looks bigger now lol. Thinking about calling them back for some trimming next.

Victor responded very quickly and professionally.When the driver arrived with a truck load of redwood logs 3 and 4 feet in diameter. Some as long as 6 to 8 feet and I asked Brian if he could drop them between house and the 50 foot juniper trees about 20 feet wide.He dropped them exactly where I wanted them which made it much easier to start sculpting them.Thank you,James Luff

GREAT SERVICE and VALUE. I called 3 similar services on a Saturday - Victor was the first to arrive and had by far the best quote. He agreed to have a team at our house on Monday. His crew was polite, professional and courteous. They did the job and cleaned everything up.... including our pool. East Bay Tree Service removed a large Bradford pear tree that was too close to our home. Victor's crew was very skillful and respectful of the property. Both the tree removal and stump-grinding went very quickly and smoothly. When they completed the project, they cleaned up. We appreciated his fair price. Victor called me for feedback about the experience. He even suggested some alternative tree choices for the property. I will absolutely recommend this company to friends!

Called for stump removal after another company no-showed on me. These guys actually showed up and did the job same day. Can’t beat that. They were fast, respectful of the yard, and even offered to haul off some leftover debris while they were at it. Wish I’d called them first!

Long story short-- Victor is a great guy and gets things done. I needed the job done professionally and quickly and I don't have time to mess around, my life is too busy already. These guys are great-- they came out and did an excellent job (just have to wait a couple more days for the stumps to be removed). I have seen East Bay Tree Service Trucks on the road often; they looked very professional that was why I choose to give them a call. I have ordered a truck load of free wood chips to mulch our front/back yard. Victor, the owner, told me to wait for a day or two for the best chips. What I have got today was more than I expected: the redwood chips was perfect small size and from very healthy trees. I was just over joyed with the quality of the free chips I've got! I found Victor is a very responsible person who always return my call immediately. I would definitely do business with them in the future.

We were directed to this company by my parents, who used them to remove a couple of huge and dangerous pines that were not well out in Lafayette, and raved out their work (they don't really write reviews, but would definitely give them 5 stars). This is a small company so is very busy and is not easy to schedule. But if you persist, they will do great work both on the trees and on the clean up. We have used them twice now - once last fall and a second time this winter to clean up the yard of a house that we purchased last March, was a former rental, and had a complete mess of a back yard - trees and shrubs that had never been cared for. There were sick and leaning trees (safety hazard to us and our kids), overgrown trees with branches all the way to the ground, a pine full of dead limbs, and thick walls of weedy shrubs and vines like english ivy. The yard now looks much better and with all the cleanup done is ready for a landscaper to come in and work with us on a permaculture-type setup that includes to planting native California trees, shrubs, grasses and wildlflowers, and our favorite fruit trees and shrubs (and eventually some chickens).

OUTSTANDING! I have near 3 messy acres that have over-grown incredibly in the last two good rainy seasons. Victor and crew wiped my slate clean in one day: trees, shrubs, rat hovels, all! Whoa! Beyond that, the crew is courteous and attentive to requests along the grooming way. Terrific!

Didn’t know what to expect, but they rolled up with a full crew, legit equipment, and got straight to work. Took down a big tree in our front yard, trimmed up a few others, and somehow had it all done before noon. No drama, no mess, no upsells—just solid work. It’s rare to see a team work this efficiently. Every person knew exactly what they were doing and the results show it. Can’t say enough good things about these guys. I had a few trees hanging way too low over my driveway, every time I parked, I had to duck 🙄. They came out right on time, explained what they were going to do, and handled everything perfectly. The crew was friendly, efficient, and clearly knew their stuff. Price was super fair for the amount of work they did, and they even cleaned up every last branch and leaf before leaving. The driveway looks open and clean now. Victor is the best there is, true professional. I am a real estate agent in Lamorinda and need someone that I can trust 100% to take a tree down without doing any unnecessary damage and at a fair price. Victor's crew are true tradesmen. The contractors I refer to my clients are a reflection on me and I could not be happier with the service I have received. I have made the mistake in the past of using a cheaper company and it has cost me more in the long run.

I called East Bay Tree at 10:30pm during a storm in Walnut Creek on 4/6/17 where a tree fell onto my car. He was at my house within an hour and removed the tree off my car and in quick order cut the tree up into small pieces. He was reasonable and very professional and even called on his way over to assure me he was enroute. Very nice man and would highly recommend. Other firms I called that night and left messages with never even returned my calls.

East Bay Tree Service has done work on our trees twice in the last year. Both times the results were excellent............ better than expected. They are skilled in thinning out Oak trees and opening trees up to create a view. The second job was to clear ivy from trees and general over growth from the hillside behind our house. Another great job. Victor's crew is both fast and professional and the work is reasonably priced. I highly recommend and will continue to use East Bay Tree Service for all our future tree work.

We recently had Victor and his team at 377-TREE (East Bay Tree Service) remove 8 aged and diseased Monterey pines from our church's property along Moraga Way. Could not have been more impressed than we were! The reasonableness of the pricing and the efficiency of the crew were off-the-charts good. They got their work done with minimal disruption to activities on our campus and left the job site neat and tidy. I would particularly recommend East Bay Tree Service for larger jobs as they are one of the few local providers that actually has the equipment necessary to handle BIG tree removal projects.

Victor is a seasoned veteran when it come to tree services, I was immediately impressed with his knowledge of trees (when they should be trimmed, which ones are fire risk, and what would grow well on our property) and his passion for improving our outdoor space. We had 5 large pines removed, a handful of junipers, and topped off some trees around the property to create some nice view windows as we live on a hill. Victor made sure we met our timeline and his crew was friendly and efficient. His prices are reasonable and the work is insured. I especially liked how Victor came by to check on progress and followed up after the job to see if we were happy. Will definitely work with him and his team again!
