We are Moraga residents for over 30 years and had a very old redwood tree that was in the front yard and was causing some damage to driveway and foundation. We are very happy to find a local company that did an outstanding professional job. Victor the owner was very prompt, courteous and gave us a reasonable price to remove the tree and also clean up our front and back yard. The team came promptly and Chris the team lead did a fantastic job. The tree chips were removed and the yard was cleaned up immaculately. Both my wife and I would highly recommend East Bay Tree Service without any reservation for any tree and yard service needs!

Their tree service is top-notch. Quick to respond, clear communication, and real results. I’ve had trimming done before, but this was way more precise — like they actually cared about the shape and long-term health of the trees, not just hacking limbs off. They walked me through what they were doing, didn’t rush, and even pointed out a few problem branches I hadn’t noticed. Super impressed.

The service and price I received from East Bay Tree Service was SUPERIOR!!! Victor and his team were amazing! They fit me in their already busy schedule . They did excellent work.They cut down and removed 6 trees from my property. They pruned a giant pine tree in my front yard along with pruning and shaping other smaller trees in my yard.The price was beyond fair . They completed the work in less than two days!! Aside from the trees being gone you can't tell they were there as they cleaned up the mess . Finally the icing on the cake is Victor is an extremely nice person who responds to your calls promptly and his team of workers were polite and very hard working. There is no doubt in my mind who I will call if I need tree service again!

Thank you Victor and crew! Worried about wildfire risk I called Victor last weekend and he came to my home within 30 minutes. He walked the entire property, provided expert advice and we settled on a plan for brush clearing, dead and lower tree limb removal, and removal of an enormous rat nest high up in a willow. He came today with a crew of eight and finished the work. I will sleep better tonight knowing my property is safer. He’s recommended by Moraga Orinda Fire Department. Give him a call.

We couldn't be more impressed with East Bay Tree Services! They took down over 10 massive trees on our property--some of which were in tough, hard-to-reach spots--and handled the job with incredible skill and efficiency. The entire team was professional, courteous, and clearly experienced. They worked quickly without ever compromising safety or quality, and left the area absolutely spotless. You'd never know such big trees had ever been there! We were so happy with their work that we had them come back for additional tree removals, and once again, they delivered exceptional service. It's rare to find a crew that combines expertise, speed, and a genuine pride in their work the way this team does. These are truly great people--trustworthy, reliable, and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend them to anyone needing tree work done right! Price is very competitive.

We recently moved to the East Bay to a home with really nice, but overgrown trees. Victor and his team were true professionals and were a joy to work with. Scope of work was to remove a 60 year old redwood that was planted too close for comfort to our home's foundation, a cedar, and two ash trees. They also cleaned up a number of redwoods and birch trees throughout the property which instantly added curb appeal. They also ground the stumps where trees were removed. We were shocked with how quickly and safely the trees came down. Victor and his crew were really focused on delivering a great customer experience. Our neighbors took note too, so I would imagine he'll be getting a bunch of referrals coming out of our job. I also appreciated how they cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day. My advice: book East Bay Tree Service for your arborist needs. Yes, there may be companies that come in way cheaper, but if you search them you'll see that they jeopardize their crew's safety and I wouldn't want that on my conscious.

My husband called East Bay Tree Service after a giant eucalyptus tree fell onto our property, doing extensive damage to our garden and putting our animals at risk. Even though it was after 5pm when we called, Victor said he would be right over with his team to take care of it for us. They were over so fast, worked in the pouring rain, and didn't leave until we were sure our animals would be safe for the night. They found a way to prop up our broken fence, and even patched the broken animal enclosure. Victor and his crew could have easily gone home for the night- but they took care of us in our time of need and after a very stressful day that meant the world to us. They came back first thing the next morning to finish the job. The work was done quickly and efficiently and the workers on site were friendly. We will use them for all of our big tree jobs in the future and will recommend them to anyone who needs tree service.

I'm so grateful for Victor and East Bay Tree Service! Victor went above and beyond in helping with a donation to build a school garden at a San Francisco public elementary school. He was very responsive to my inquiries, made himself readily available, and even supported my school with the cutting and transportation of premium redwood lumber, which we used to build raised beds. It was unbelievable. We never would have been able to accomplish everything we did without Victor and East Bay Tree Service, he really was so thoughtful to support the local community and students in need. I know they are usually use to working on big projects but when I called for help for my little backyard, there was no hesitation and were able to put me on their calendar for the next day. We had a 300 year old massive oak go down last night at 11:00 PM. It landed in our driveway, preventing us from getting out. It also crushed a few trees, a fence and a neighbors gutter. East Bay Tree Service was called that night, came out at 12:00 and surveyed, providing pricing and commitment to service the next morning at 7:30 AM. I was shocked and thankful they were so responsive and caring. This morning they sent a crew with the best equipment for large trees, took it apart, and cleaned up so we could get out before noon. Thank you so much for your great service! We would recommend you to anyone! Victor does an excellent job managing his crew and efficiently getting projects done in hairy circumstances...

Our huge old oak tree recently fell due to age and erosion on a Saturday afternoon. I called Victor at East Bay Tree Service. He came out that afternoon, gave us an estimate and subsequently told me he could have a crew out to start removal on Monday morning. First thing Monday, Victor and his crew of about 5 guys got to work. One week later the entire tree, including the stump, was gone. Additionally, they took care of a couple of limbs on our neighbors property that our tree had damaged and removed the debris from the creek that defines our proprty line. These guys worked very hard. They had all the right equipment. They were extremely respectful of our property and were just a great bunch of guys. They left our property clean and neat and they did it all with a smile. Victor was very much involved with the job from start to finish and he was also very helpful with providing recommendations and information for our insurance claim. HIGHLY RECOMMEND EAST BAY TREE SERVICE!!!
